Install the steering gear on the mounting base and tighten the fixing bolts. 7. Universal joint or coupling between mounting column and steering gear. 8. For the adjustable steering column, the upper end seal of the steering gear shall not be damaged when the universal joint is installed. 9. Keep the steering wheel in straight ahead position. 10. Put the pitman arm on the steering gear to align the two marks. 10.
